Rev. Jeremy L. Williams, Ph.D. is a native of Huntsville, AL. He successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation on racialization and criminalization in Acts of the Apostles at Harvard University. Dr. Williams is Assistant Professor of New Testament at Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated with Highest Honors in Religious Studies and Economics from Vanderbilt University, and he earned the M.Div. degree from Yale Divinity School. Rev. Williams is ordained as an Elder in Full Connection in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He has served in ministry for almost 20 years and as lead pastor of two congregations in Connecticut. He is also a national awardee of his honorable fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi.
